This role supports production operations by ensuring materials are delivered efficiently, inventory is maintained accurately, and work areas remain organized and compliant with safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing listsStore materials in designated locations following established proceduresPick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas in a timely mannerPerform inventory transactions using warehouse management or ERP systemsMaintain accurate inventory counts and participate in cycle counting activitiesPackage, label, and prepare materials for internal use or shipmentOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts safelyMaintain clean and organized storage and work areas (5S standards)Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and quality requirementsReport discrepancies, damaged materials, or inventory shortages to leadershipAssist with shipping and receiving tasks as neededEssential FunctionsRun work center detail reportsVerify counts on receipts of incoming goods and communicate with planners to adjust receipts when necessaryStore materials properly in designated warehouse locationsComplete transactions using computer systems or other devicesRetrieve items from the warehouse, verify counts, and communicate with planners to adjust orders as neededDeliver materials to work centers and complete all required system transactionsObtain scheduled shipper sheets and work center detail reportsPrint customer orders and retrieve products to fulfill line itemsComplete required documentation and transfer goods to appropriate workstationsRecord all transactions in computer systems or devicesAssist manufacturing teams in resolving shortagesInvestigate causes of shortages, retrieve required materials, and record transactionsComplete daily return-to-inventory transactions, including physical put-away and system updatesTransact and maintain adhesive inventory for customer and work ordersPrepare and count materials for outside processing and communicate with planning and purchasing as neededMaintain stockroom organization and cleanliness to a high 6S standardTransport goods between multiple locationsConduct scheduled physical audits of stock locationsPerform other duties and assignments as directed by the Inventory Supervisor and leadership teamRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling role preferredBasic computer skills for inventory tracking systemsAbility to read and interpret work instructions, labels, and documentationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levelsPreferred SkillsForklift certification or ability to obtain certificationExperience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar)Familiarity with inventory control practices and cycle countingWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a manufacturing and warehouse setting that requires adherence to safety protocols, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and logistics.Pay Details: $18.50 to $22.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
