The combined application downloads with our mobile SDKs on both Android and iOS platforms are estimated to be over 3 million unique downloads.\nYou’ll be joining the Atrius Mobile Application development team (fully remote), reporting to the Director of Engineering. This team works directly with the product management team and our customers to drive adoption of the platform, support customers in using Atrius to solve for their unique business goals and ensure that they’re finding the best possible value in our software.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Applications Software Engineer with 5 or more years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical abilities, capable of reviewing existing codebases to deduce workflows, logical operations, and architectural patterns with minimal guidance.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications for Android (Kotlin, Jetpack) and iOS (Objective-C, Swift) platforms.\nBuild and maintain cross-platform components using JavaScript, where applicable.\nAnalyze existing codebases to reverse-engineer workflows and understand application logic, data flows, and integration points.\nCollaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable mobile solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.\nImplement best practices in mobile architecture, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.\nEducation (minimum education required)\nPreferred Education (i.e. type of degree)\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\n5+ years of experience developing native mobile applications on both Android and iOS.\nStrong proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, Jetpack, and JavaScript.\nAbility to analyze and understand complex legacy applications and deduce workflows and logic.\nExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs.\nSolid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform-specific design guidelines.\nExperience with DevOps and project management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience working with RF interfaces and camera operations on mobile devices.\nBasic understanding of location and positioning technologies (GPS, Wi-Fi, BLE, inertial sensors).\nFamiliarity with map cartography, mapping SDKs, and geospatial data concepts.\nExperience with automated testing frameworks on Android and iOS.\nPhysical Requirements\nSedentary Work\nTravel Requirements\n0%\nOther\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA proactive, self-motivated engineer who takes ownership of solutions from concept to deployment.\nSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to changing requirements.\nA strong communicator who can clearly articulate technical ideas and collaborate across teams.\nThe range for this position is $120,000 to $210,000.
