Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description The Development Analyst is a key member of the Development team and supports both Engineering and Geoscience disciplines through technical analysis, development planning, data management, and economic evaluation activities. This role is responsible for supporting field development strategies, optimizing drilling inventory, maintaining development databases, and providing analytical insights that support operational and business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, technical problem-solving skills, and experience working with large datasets and business intelligence tools within a collaborative, cross-functional environment. ResponsibilitiesConduct complex technical and economic analyses to support development planning, well performance evaluations, budgeting, and operational decision-making.Utilize multiple databases, systems, and analytical tools to organize, manage, and summarize data for technical interpretation and reporting.Support development planning activities by collaborating with engineering, geology, and development teams to optimize field development strategies.Assist with roadmap evaluations and development scenario analysis for various operational areas.Maintain alignment between development plans and inventory databases used for scheduling, budgeting, reserves, permitting, facilities planning, and economic forecasting.Prepare and communicate development documentation required to support project execution and approvals.Create and manage Project Change Management requests to support evolving development objectives.Maintain spatial data, inventory records, and development tracking systems.Perform ad hoc data analysis, inventory evaluations, economic assessments, and reporting requests.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and adherence to best data management practices.Develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and support business decisions.Collaborate across multiple disciplines and departments to support operational and strategic initiatives.Support continuous improvement efforts related to data management, reporting, and analytical workflows.
