Learn more about our industries served and projects at our website.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Surveying Technician located in Green Bay, WI. As a Surveying Technician, your responsibilities will include assisting with topographic surveys, land surveying, ALTA (American Land Title Association) surveys, and other various surveying tasks. You will perform on-site fieldwork and assist in gathering, analyzing, and processing data for building and land surveying projects.RESPONSIBILITIESField Data Collection: Perform field surveys, including topographical, boundary, and construction staking projects.Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain survey instruments including GPS, Robotic Total Station, Levels, etc.Site Preparation: Clear brush and debris from survey lines, set iron rods, wooden stakes, and other monumentation.Data Management: Record accurate field notes, sketches, and digital data, transferring this information to the office for processing.Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and, when necessary, assist in organizing and cleaning field equipment and vehicles.Office Support: Assist in data reduction and preparation of basic CAD drawings or GIS mapping as needed.Municipal Construction: Assist with construction observation on municipal projects.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or associate’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.3+ years of related survey experience preferred.Experience working with robotic and GPS field survey equipment.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.Surveyor License in Wisconsin preferred but not required.Must possess a valid driver's license.Drone pilot license a plus.CONTACTHR Manager at careers@cedarcorp.comwww.cedarcorp.comEqual opportunity Employer
