Working directly with scientists onsite, you'll contribute to analytical chemistry workflows using state-of-the-art techniques. This hands-on role combines cutting-edge analytical methods with classical strain development, offering broad exposure to industrial biotechnology applications.We count on you for:Perform microbiological/biochemical assays, applying microbiology laboratory practices and sterile techniques as required.Prepare samples and mobile phase for chromatographic analyses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Operate HPLC and/or LC-MS instruments for routine analytical workflows.Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workstation.Accurately document experimental procedures, observations, and results in laboratory records.Assist with basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of HPLC and/or LC-MS instruments.Experience with sample and mobile phase preparation for chromatographic analysisExperience with HPLC and/or LC-MS operation for routine analysisDemonstrated commitment to laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practicesStrong organization skills and ability to maintain a clean and organized laboratory workstationProven ability to maintain detailed and accurate experimental recordsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsFoundation in microbiology laboratory practices and sterile technique preferredKnowledge of HPLC and/or LC-MS troubleshooting is considered a plusYou can count on us: Develop expertise in data analysis, specialized AC software and mass spectrometryGain experience with high-throughput laboratory automationDevelop expertise in synthetic biology experimental designWe provide comprehensive training in laboratory procedures and safety protocols, ensuring you're well-equipped to contribute to meaningful projects in sustainable materials development.You will bring:Bachelors in biotechnology degree in progressYou will get:Competitive internship salary (22.00 - 26.00 per hour depending education)Hands-on experience in a global, innovative company.Mentorship from experienced professionals.Opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support Syensqo’s mission.About UsSyensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
