This role includes originating, processing and servicing loans for existing and prospective customers, ensuring compliance throughout the loan lifecycle. The VP Loan Officer also supports portfolio oversight by assisting with ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting of loan performance and credit conditions.\n\nChampion Enterprise Values: Lead with and model SSB&T’s core values, embedding them into data strategy, governance, and team culture.\n\nLead loan production and portfolio management efforts within assigned market or segment\n\nOriginate and manage moderately complex consumer and/or commercial loan relationships\n\nProvide strategic input on market growth and lending initiatives\n\nPresent complex credits to senior loan committee and executive leadership\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with customers through proactive service and communication\n\nGather financial documentation\n\nEnsure loan files meet internal policies and regulatory requirements\n\nActively grow loan portfolio through business development efforts\n\nParticipate in community and business development activities\n\nMaintain high level of customer service through the loan lifecycle\n\nEmployment Commitments & Physical Requirements\n\nExempt\n\nFull-time\n\nMonday- Friday 8am-5pm\n\nFocus-intensive position requiring extended periods of sitting and digital navigation.\n\nOccasional walking, standing, and use of office equipment.\n\nMust possess close visual acuity and clear speech for verbal communication.\n\nLocation & Travel\n\nPhysical reporting to Marble Falls Branch\n\nTravel may be necessary depending on business needs\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field\n\n7- 10 years of commercial lending or banking loan experience\n\nDemonstrate leadership and team development experience\n\nStrong business development and relationship management skills\n\nStrong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\n\nAbility to adapt to growing business needs and structural changes.\n\nFamiliarity with regulatory and credit compliance standards\n\nCandidate Preferred Qualifications\n\nMBA or advance financial degree\n\nExperience managing market-level or regional loan portfolios\n\nCommercial or business lending experience\n\nSSB&T Employee Benefits\nSSB&T offers all eligible full-time employees a robust benefits package.
