{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d29807e44ef23328af411ec0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d29807e44ef23328af411ec0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d29807e44ef23328af411ec0","title":"Model Based Systems Engineer (Level 2)","description":"About this role\nLockheed Martin seeks a highly motivated, innovative Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join the Global Security team and become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) in Denver, Colorado.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nEmploy MBSE approaches to develop Systems Engineering products using SysML and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize model data.\n\nSupport MBSE efforts on multiple programs; solicit stakeholder needs for MBSE implementation.\n\nElicit stakeholder needs and requirements and model the data.\n\nUse system data from model to develop assembly, integration, interface, and verification data.\n\nEngage across all teams (SE, R&V, Mechanical, Electrical, Digital Transformation, and Customers) to support products and processes, leading SE process definition and coordinating process execution across the team.\n\nAssist in redefining and modernizing engineering processes, including Peer Reviews, Design Reviews, and Operations/Test efforts.\n\nSupport the definition and implementation of MBSE products and processes, partnering across SE teams and the overall FBM MBSE/MBE efforts to incorporate and modernize model-based methods into products, processes, and design reviews.\n\nDemonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and build strong relationships with customers, management, external stakeholders, Design SMEs, and peers, thriving in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment with competing priorities.\n\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications\n\n1+ years professional experience.\n\nUS citizenship required; Top Secret clearance required prior to start.\n\nKnowledge or experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle and processes.\n\nExperience performing Systems Engineering activities associated with Model Based applications.\n\nFamiliarity with Cameo or equivalent MBSE/SysML for architecture design.\n\nActive Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nExperience using system modeling tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, MagicDraw, etc.) to solve a broad range of systems engineering problems beyond architecture.\n\nExperience with spacecraft and/or aerospace.\n\nExperience with process development and deployment.\n\nExperience with requirements-based tools (e.g., DOORS).\n\nFamiliar with Agile Methodologies and tools.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nUS citizenship required, Top Secret clearance required prior to start.
