We offer professionals opportunities to train in the leading technologies, make an impact within the industry and acquire valuable new skills whether on client sites or in one of our regional offices.\nPosition Overview\nAs the Data Center Cabling Superintendent, you will lead and manage large, cabling installations for major AI and hyperscale data centers across the U.S. You'll oversee all aspects of low-voltage cabling, from planning and standards to field execution, and make sure everything is installed safely, correctly, and on schedule.\nYou'll manage field teams (typically 50-100 technicians and contractors), coordinate with vendors, and travel frequently to active project sites.\nThis is a full-time salaried role offering $90,000-$125,000, full benefits, project bonuses, paid travel, and advanced training.\nThis position requires 75% travel to project sites nationwide, including AI build locations.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview and oversee installation of cabling and support systems in new data center white space.\nSet and maintain cabling standards (fiber and copper) for multiple projects.\nBuild and manage cabling tracking sheets (pull patch schedules)\nSupervise and coordinate subcontractors and internal crews to keep projects on schedule.\nPerform on-site quality checks - verifying terminations, labeling, routing, and test results.\nMonitor project progress and timelines; communicate changes and updates to leadership and clients.\nManage documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.\nEnforce safety rules and lead daily toolbox talks with field teams.\nReport daily field progress and any issues impacting schedules or budgets.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in structured cabling, low-voltage, or fiber optic systems - ideally in large data centers or mission-critical environments.\nProven experience managing field cabling crews.\nAbility to read and understand cabling design drawings and specifications.\nKnowledge of labeling standards and cabling best practices.\nStrong Excel skills (data vetting, port mapping, tracking, pivots/macros).\nExcellent organization and communication skills.\nComfortable working in active, live data center environments.\nAble to handle fast-paced, high-pressure project timelines.\nWilling to travel 75% of the time to project sites (8-12 hour days during builds).\nHands-on troubleshooting skills using OLTS, OTDR, VFL, and similar testing tools.\nExperience leading 25-50+ technicians across multiple sites.\nKnowledge of safety compliance, field documentation, and reporting.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent field experience.\nExperience with cabling systems for AI or HPC workloads (Spine-Leaf topology, InfiniBand, etc.).\nStrong understanding of racks, containment, and pathway systems.\nFamiliar with TIA/EIA and BICSI standards and building codes.\nExperience working with owner's reps, vendors, and major manufacturers.\nCertifications like BICSI, RCDD, or TIA are a plus.\nExperience managing bids, RFIs, RFPs, change orders, and QA/QC documentation.\nAdvanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for cabling issues.\nTo support a fair, consistent, and high-quality hiring experience, some interviews may be recorded.
