With ~800 households and ~$600M+ in assets, our firm has grown organically through a commitment to:Comprehensive financial planningInvestment managementInsurance and risk strategiesAs we continue to scale, we are seeking a Practice Manager & Director of Operations to help lead our team and build the infrastructure for our next phase of growth.The OpportunityThis is a leadership role focused on managing the team and running day-to-day operations, while also building toward a broader operational leadership position.You will work directly with the CEO to:Lead and manage staffOversee daily operations and workflowImprove accountability and team performanceBuild systems and processes to support continued growthThis role is designed to evolve into a full Director of Operations position as the firm scales.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Management (Primary Focus)Lead and manage operations and service team membersRun weekly team and workflow meetingsEstablish clear roles, expectations, and accountabilityManage performance, address issues, and develop team membersWorkflow & Operations OversightEnsure all client service, onboarding, and operational tasks are completed efficientlyMonitor and manage:New business processingClient service requestsFollow-ups and outstanding itemsReduce bottlenecks and improve turnaround timesClient ExperienceStandardize meeting preparation and follow-up processesEnsure a consistent, high-quality client experience across the firmImprove responsiveness and communication standardsProcess Improvement & SOP DevelopmentDocument and begin building standard operating procedures (SOPs)Identify inefficiencies and implement improvementsCreate structure where processes are currently informalTechnology & SystemsWork within and help optimize firm systems:CRM (Wealthbox)Custodial platforms (NFS / Investor360)Planning and portfolio toolsSupport increased automation and integration over timeReporting & AccountabilityTrack key metrics:Workflow completionService timelinesTeam performanceProvide visibility into operational performance and gapsWhat Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)CEO is no longer managing day-to-day staffTeam accountability and communication significantly improveFewer operational errors and missed follow-upsClear structure around workflows and responsibilitiesFoundation built for scalable operationsIdeal CandidateExperience5–10+ years in a wealth management, RIA, or financial services firmExperience managing teams and overseeing operationsBackground in improving workflows and team performanceSkill SetStrong leadership and people management abilityHighly organized with attention to detailProcess-oriented mindsetAbility to hold others accountableComfortable with technology and systemsMindsetTakes ownership and initiativeSolutions-oriented and proactiveHigh standards and strong follow-throughComfortable operating in a growing, evolving firmCompensationBase Salary: $90,000 – $120,000Performance Bonus: $10,000 – $30,000+Growth path to higher compensation aligned with expanded responsibilitiesWhy This Role MattersThis role is critical to the future of the firm.The right person will:Take ownership of team management and operationsCreate capacity for continued growthHelp build a more scalable, efficient, and professional organization
