WEEKEND HOUSEKEEPING LEAD

Summary: Days and hours to work: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays - 4:00 am - 2:30 pm Days off: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Under the direction of the the Housekeeping Supervisor the Weekend Housekeeping Lead will assure the cleanliness and functionality of the Cottonwood and Palo Verde common areas and office facilities. The Housekeeping Lead will schedule the operational assignments for the weekend crew and ensure compliance with and completion of directives and policies and procedures of SLHOA #2. Demonstrates knowledge and ability to fulfill the duties of a lead crew person.Demonstrates the leadership and organizational capabilities to fulfill the duties of a lead crew coordinator.Maintains the supply ordering and inventory levels for all items utilized by housekeeping.Mediates disputes among crew members.Completes performance evaluations, reviews and recommends salary merit, promotion or demotion changes for all weekend crew members.Assures employee compliance to Phase II administrative policies and procedures.Monitors performance on a daily basis for all weekend crew employees of the department, completing any performance delinquency reports or counseling issues for all department personnel.Notifies Administration of major repairs or problems that may require action to be taken by departments other than Housekeeping.Performs any other job-related tasks as deemed necessary or assigned by Administration. Performance Requirements:Responsible for cleanliness, safety and the appearance of all common areas and grounds.Works in a mature, efficient and professional manner exhibiting respect for co-workers as well as for superiors and visitors to the complex.Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment to be used in the completion of assigned tasks.Reliable attendance and supervisory visitations made to assure the completion of department responsibilities.Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational capabilities.Maintains documentation and accountability data for department personnel and operations.Completes/performs other tasks as requested by the employee's supervisors and/or department manager/director with the approval of the General Manager. The General Manager may also request employees to perform duties not specifically included in the employee's job description.Other duties assigned - Completes/performs other tasks as requested by the employee's manager.
