information\r\nProvide accurate closing and funding of mortgage loans\r\nResponsible for reviewing title commitments, appraisals, flood, homeowners' insurance policies, condo questionnaires, assets and credit\r\nMeet deadlines and assist with production goals\r\nRepresent the Mortgage Department in various Credit Union days, seminars and other special projects as directed by management staff of Mortgage Department\r\nPerform other duties as assigned\r\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.\r\nMinimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED\r\nMeets qualifications to obtain NMLS certification\r\nPreferred Qualifications Previous banking or Credit Union experience\r\nPrevious mortgage experience in loan processing, loan origination or financial services\r\nPrevious knowledge of FNMA, NCUA and AAFCU Mortgage Lending Guidelines\r\nPrevious Residential Mortgage Closing and Funding experience\r\nPrevious working knowledge of PC Software including Desktop Underwriting, Mortgage LOS applications, and Episys\r\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) gained through work experience and hands-on use of the software\r\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple files and function as an integral part of a team\r\nAbove average interpersonal and communication skills, including professional telephone manners\r\nAbility to effectively communicate with all levels both verbally and written\r\nAbility to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus\r\nAbility to work well under deadlines and high-volume pressure\r\nAbility to work in a diverse work environment\r\nAbility to quickly learn, adapt well to change, self-motivate and capacity for attention to detail\r\nAbility to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance\r\nAbility to sit for extended periods and
