Job Title: Special Education Teacher Assistant (Cross-Categorical)Location: Leesburg, VADuration: 17 WeeksSchedule: Monday - Friday | 7:45 AM - 3:00 PMPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher Assistant (SPED TA) to support students with diverse learning needs in an elementary school setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with the classroom teacher and support staff to help students achieve academic success, develop social skills, and maintain positive behavioral growth.ResponsibilitiesAssist the classroom teacher in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Provide one-on-one and small group instructional supportSupport students with academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needsAssist with classroom management and foster a positive learning environmentPrepare instructional materials and classroom resourcesCollaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to monitor and support student progressParticipate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or higher preferred)Experience working with children, preferably in a special education or inclusive classroom settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain patient, flexible, and supportive in a dynamic classroom environmentFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
