Billing Specialist
Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Firm's Billing Manager, the Finance/ Billing Specialist assists in managing the administrative portion of the client relationship. Key Responsibilities:Process monthly client billing for assigned attorneysWork with attorneys and clients to understand billing guidelines and ensure billing practices are within guideline requirementsPerform audits of Firm bills to ensure timeliness and accuracy of client billsPrepare, proof and modify invoices accordingly and send to client, including submission of invoices to e-billing sites as requiredAssist attorneys and secretaries with client inquiresComplete electronic billing set ups including communicating with client and assigned attorneys and secretaries through completion of the setupResearch detail of client related expense items in order to provide supporting documentation on the billsCoordinate with clients and attorneys on rate approvals and increases and complete rate submissions to e-billing sitesReview non-compliant invoices and coordinate with attorney and client on modificationWork with executive level Firm management at year end to review accounts receivable and perform appropriate client follow-upOther duties as assigned Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent oral and written communication skillsAccuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong time-management skills and ability to multi-taskStrong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervisionVarious physical activity may be requiredWhy Join Bradley?
