We're currently looking for local HVAC Service Technicians for ongoing commercial work in the Greater Northern California area. Iron Mechanical offers full mechanical design build in Northern & Southern California with offices in both locations. Our focus from day one has been performance and quality. Iron Mechanical is working on large mid to high rise multifamily projects, design build and design assist on the full mechanical package. It's truly a one-of-a-kind place to work, come join our team!Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Job description:Install and maintain diverse heating, ventilation and air conditioning systemsLay out wires and pipes to complete HVAC systemsPerform general and preventative maintenance on HVAC systemsEnsure that all installations are done in accordance to the set standardsMake sure that any loose wires are connected and secured properlyEnsure calibration of thermostats and other controlsPerform checks on motors and belts and handle lubrication dutiesChange filters and replace any parts as they wear outRepair motors and service steam and hot water boilersEnsure that chemical compositions in equipment are adequate at all timesHandle conduit running for HVAC equipmentOrder any supplies or equipment needed for HVAC maintenance or installation as neededEnsure availability of all items needed for an HVAC projectRespond to emergency situations in order to resolve issues on an immediate basisHandle maintenance of tools and equipmentReplace faulty or expired parts in an HVAC systemFabricate parts in case parts are not readily availableDetermine need for upgrading HVAC systems and take measures to take necessary actionsQualifications:At least 3 years of commercial field experience is requiredIron Mechanical offers a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, 401K benefits, employer-paid life insurance, paid time off and sick leave.Company DescriptionWe are a design/build mechanical contractor specializing in the design and construction of mechanical and plumbing systems for large commercial, high-rise, and multifamily buildings.
