Lead Estimator & Project Manager - Commercial ConcreteLocation: Triangle Area, NCCompany: ARW Concrete Contracting, LLC We are seeking a Lead Estimator & Project Manager to take ownership of estimating accuracy and project execution from bid through closeout. This is a senior-level role for someone who understands construction numbers, sequencing, and field realities—and can manage multiple projects without constant oversight.You will be responsible for accurate takeoffs, pricing, bid strategy, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and cost control, while working closely with ownership, field supervisors, and clients.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accountability and wants to be a key decision-maker in a growing company.Key Responsibilities:Cultivate strong relationships with the clients in the areaPrepare accurate take-offs, estimates, and bids for commercial concrete projects per the scope requirementsDevelop initial project schedules and manage submittals and change ordersProactively track unit costs, change orders, and job profitabilitySolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to perform buy out activitiesWhat You Bring To The Team:Strong team player with a positive attitudeSelf-motivated with the ability to resolve complex issuesDemonstrated understanding of building processes and systemsThorough understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and trackingQualifications:5+ years of experience in construction estimatingKnowledge of Microsoft programs, Bluebeam and/or On-Screen-Take-OffExcellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencingWhy Join Us:Competitive pay based on experience and performanceCompetitive benefits package including profit sharing planStrong team dynamics and growth opportunities
