This Financial Analyst will support the enterprise FP&A workstream, which includes the consolidation of the P&L, EPS, and Cash Flow models in Excel and Anaplan. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Finance and will be an integral player in driving transparency on our financial outlook to our C-level executives.The ideal candidate will be a quick-learner with a strong sense of "team" and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners. The person in this position will be challenged to critically think through complex problems and help solve critical business issues that affect daily operations and overall financial performance.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.AnalyticsStrong foundation in quantitative concepts (e.g. financial, statistical, forecasting, etc.)Manage, develop and execute highly visible financial reports that allow C-level executives to identify opportunities and risk areas for future business performanceDevelop financial models and perform analyses that support strategic decision making for DaVita executive leadersSupport the annual enterprise-level budget and long-term strategic forecast processes as well as monthly and quarterly forecasts for developing Wall Street earnings guidanceContribute to presentations for senior executives as neededOther strategic, operational, financial or special projects as neededAccountabilityDeliver on-time and accurate recurring financial reporting that provide meaningful insights and drive strategic decision making by our senior executivesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, identifying and acting on most important business problems to solveDrive actionable recommendations from synthesis of insights that push partners to differential results or new strategiesAppropriately manage potential roadblocks proactively identifying, communicating, and solving issuesCommunicationPrioritize communications to focus on most critical information with a bias towards actionContribute to effective communication including insights and progress towards resultsTeamContribute to a team environment of trust and learning with multi-directional feedbackCollaborate with and participate in cross-functional teams across numerous finance lanes on special projectsDevelopmentAggressively pursue professional development opportunities available to DaVita TeammatesAbility to quickly take action on tactical feedback and develop over timeDesired QualificationsBA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative field1+ years of experience in a financial analyst role, equivalent certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) or advanced degree (e.g., Masters in Finance) preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with financial statements, the relationships among them and the underlying business operations they representExperience with and understanding of financial analysis, financial modeling or profitability analysis techniques preferred but not requiredExperience with analytical methods and software, financial planning, accounting or other database systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion Essbase, VBA, Python or SQL a plusIntellectually curious, eager to learn and comfortable with ambiguitySolid work ethic, including ability to follow-up, focus on details and take initiativeStrong verbal and written communication skills: able to communicate effectively with teammates both internal and external to finance and at senior levels of the organizationAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointTeam player with a great attitude who lives our Core Value of FunJoin us as we pursue our vision "To Build the Greatest Healthcare Community the World has Ever Seen."Why wait?
