Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary And ResponsibilitiesAs our Speech Language Pathologist, you will be a vital clinician, expertly assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders to significantly improve patient quality of life.Every day, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients, meticulously implementing individualized treatment plans. You'll contribute clinical expertise to develop/upgrade treatment programs/protocols, and actively shape departmental and organizational goals.To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced clinical knowledge, exceptional diagnostic/therapeutic skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.Completes documentation of treatment minutes and enters electronic charges accurately and timely.Participates in continuing education and develops advanced skills that enhance and align with department, clinical and business development.Participates on internal/external task force, committee or board appropriate to diagnostic program per manager approval.Job RequirementsRequiredGraduate of an accredited Speech/Language Pathology program or related fieldInternship in appropriate clinical setting.Licensed by AZ State Board Speech Language PathologistAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support certificatePreferredMasters Other in appropriate clinical Doctorate Of Science in appropriate clinical area Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical careElectronic Health Record (EMR) experienceWhere You'll WorkDignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center (DH-YRMC) now part of CommonSpirit Health, is a dynamic, value-driven, non-profit healthcare leader.
