Build electrical components and junction boxes. Test and run all functions during installation and test phases of the assembly process to ensure the highest quality machine be delivered to the customer.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nMake connections in electrical switches with various wires, electrical cables, and connectors.\nInstall and connect appropriate wiring to components in the platform.\nInstall and connect appropriate wiring for all lighting systems to include strobe lights, boom lights, basket lighting, chassis lighting, trailer lighting, camera systems and any customer requested lighting systems.\nFabricate and install brackets and mounting hardware to install any of the above accessories.\nBe able to trouble shoot, fix, and document any problems that arise from the electrical part of the installation of any component.\nMake sure this is done in accordance with drawings, Aspen Aerials’ specifications and the specifications of the manufacturers’ components. If any discrepancies exist, it is the electrical assembler’s responsibility to report them to the Production Manager or management’s representative.\nMust complete daily timecards with appropriate time, job, and task numbers.\nMust maintain the workplace and keep work area in a neat, clean, orderly, and well-kept manner.\nFollow all safety procedures as outlined in Aspen Aerials Safety Manual.\nQualifications\nGeneral mechanical capability.\nMust be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings.\nDetail oriented and organized.\nMust be comfortable working in and around large truck chassis; must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and crawl under equipment.\nMust possess a high school diploma or GED.\nMust be able to perform functional tests.\nMust be able to work independently and as part of a team.\nMust be able to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.\nMust have good communication skills.\nMust be able to work overtime as required.\n\nWorking Conditions\nFactory environment, working on or around trucks and occasional outside work environment.\nWorking conditions include crawling on, under and around trucks and mobile hydraulic equipment.
