We move fast, learn continuously, and are always looking for ways to improve our games and how we operate them.\r\nWe're growing our LiveOps team and are looking for a Data Engineer/Analyst who can help us scale our LiveOps systems, reporting, and player insights to the next level.\r\nAbout the Role\r\nYou'll work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics and product, building and maintaining the pipelines that power our LiveOps systems, reporting, and experiments.\r\nYou'll be hands-on with our data, solving problems, spotting trends, and helping the team make smarter, faster decisions to drive player engagement.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nBuild and maintain data pipelines that capture key player behaviours across our live games\r\nDevelop and automate Python scripts for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes\r\nWork with AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena) to structure, query, and manage game data\r\nMigrating Scripts from R to Python\r\nData Enablement and Orchestration\r\nOptimize existing scripts to run faster and reduce operational costs\r\nCollaborate with Product Managers, LiveOps, and Analysts to design new event tracking and reporting systems\r\nDeliver actionable dashboards and deep-dive reports that support LiveOps campaigns and ongoing content updates\r\nMonitor data health, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and continuously improve reliability and performance\r\nIdentify new data opportunities to better measure user acquisition, engagement, monetization, and player retention\r\nContinuously improve, maintain, and develop our analytics tools for our games\r\nSkills & Experience We're Looking For\r\n4+ years practical data engineering and/or analysis experience, preferably in F2P Gaming\r\nStrong experience writing and managing Python scripts and packages like pandas, numpy\r\nFamiliarity with Python frameworks like Django, TurboGears\r\nExperience with Data orchestration tools like Prefect, Airflow, and dbt\r\nSolid SQL skills (you can comfortably pull and wrangle large datasets)\r\nExperience with AWS data tools (Example: S3, Athena, Glue)\r\nFamiliarity with data modelling and best practices\r\nExperience working with R Scripts\r\nExperience working with third-party APIs (MMP, Facebook, Google Play, etc)\r\nA passion for games and improving the player experience through better data and insights\r\nAbility to show resourcefulness and ownership of our games reporting and analysis systems.\r\nYou are a Team Player that is Hungry, Humble, and SMART.\r\nBonus Points\r\nExperience working in mobile or social gaming\r\nHands-on experience supporting live service products (games, apps, or web platforms)\r\nStrong understanding of player lifecycle metrics (DAU, Retention, ARPU, etc.) and LiveOps KPIs\r\nExperience and success leveraging AI to boost productivity and insights in a data role\r\nExperience with visualization tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Looker, etc.)\r\nKnowledge of event design and telemetry best practices in games\r\nExperience developing or using R Shiny apps\r\nStrong understanding of KPIs and reporting for live mobile games\r\nWhy Join Us?\r\nYou'll have a big impact across multiple live games\r\nYou'll work with a small, collaborative team that values ownership and innovation\r\nYou'll help build the systems and processes that directly shape how we operate our games and engage players\r\nUncapped profit share\r\nYou'll have room to grow and shape the role based on your strengths and interests\r\nSalary\r\n$100,000\r\nThe listed pay range reflects the potential earnings for this role.
