In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design innovative solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that exceed customer expectations.\n\nProvide technical support to internal teams and external customers, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions promptly.\nAnalyze technical requirements and specifications provided by product managers, translating them into actionable plans for implementation.\nCollaborate with developers and engineers to design, develop, and implement technical solutions that align with customer requirements and product goals.\nMaintain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and feedback, ensuring that technical solutions prioritize enhancing the customer experience.\nWork closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals, technical requirements, and timelines.\nConduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure that technical solutions meet performance, reliability, and usability standards.\nProactively identify areas for improvement in product functionality, performance, and user experience, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our products.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and user guides, to facilitate understanding and collaboration across teams.\nPerform all administration processes (including Workflows, Validation Rule, Approval Process, Assignment Rule, Business Rules, list generation).\nWork with the server, storage, and networking teams to validate configuration of application infrastructure as well as baseline performance and computing needs.\nWork with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they are related to the database.\nWork with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage existing or future solutions.\nSupport the evaluation of new software and upgrades for appropriateness.\nWork with other internal teams on root cause analysis and resolution.\nMonitor designated applications and take corrective action to prevent or minimize system down time.\nWho Are You?\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field preferred.\n2-4 years with SQL in a Relational Database Environment (Microsoft SQL preferred) including skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) programming language with ability to code complex SQL.\nStrong communication, documentation, prioritization, and training skills.\nExperience configuring and setting up servers, storage, and networks a plus (including exposure to grid computing).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective solutions.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience working in an Agile development environment, with a focus on delivering customer-centric products and iterating based on feedback.\nProven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, with a strong commitment to achieving team goals and delivering high-quality results.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills along with presentation skills.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks of highly varied nature in a timely manner.\nStrong business acumen and existing knowledge of the financial services industry.\nIn depth knowledge of Security Benefit & Zinnia products and services preferred.\nWhat Can Security Benefit Offer You?\nSecurity Benefit offers a competitive salary and as a full-time employee you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\n\nEmployees are eligible for an annual incentive bonus designed to reward for performance.\n33 days of paid time off for PTO, paid holidays, days of Significance, and a Volunteer Day\nPaid parental leave eligible after one year of service\nMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance\n401k with company match\nProfit Sharing & Savings Plan\nShort-term and long-term disability insurance\nFlexible spending account\nLife insurance\nEducational Assistance\nAssociate Assistance Programs\nCareer growth and more!\nConsider joining our progressive team in our nationally recognized company.
