The Director will partner with the Director of Information Security Operations to ensure the overall security of AutoZone systems and data.\nThe successful candidate must possess significant experience in a dedicated Information Security leadership role\n\nSecurity Engineering Leadership\n\nDevelop and execute the enterprise security engineering strategy aligned with organizational objectives and cybersecurity risk management priorities.\nLead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple security disciplines.\nEstablish security standards, policies, and engineering practices that support a secure-by-design culture.\n\nSecurity Architecture\n\nEstablish and maintain enterprise security architecture standards and frameworks.\nProvide strategic guidance on emerging technologies and their associated security risks.\nEnsure security requirements are embedded throughout the technology lifecycle.\n\nIdentity & Access Management (IAM)\n\nProvide strategic leadership for identity governance, privileged access management, authentication, authorization, and access certification programs.\nEnsure effective lifecycle management of user, service, and privileged accounts.\nLead the adoption and enhancement of modern identity technologies, including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and zero trust principles.\n\nNetwork and Endpoint Security\n\nDirect the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise network security controls.\nOversee firewalls, network segmentation, secure remote access, intrusion detection/prevention, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management technologies.\nEnsure effective monitoring, hardening, and protection of endpoint devices across the enterprise.\nSAP Security\n\nLead SAP security governance, architecture, and administration.\nEnsure appropriate segregation of duties (SoD), role-based access controls, and compliance requirements are maintained.\nPartner with business and ERP teams to support secure SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformations.\n\nApplication and Data Security\n\nLead application security programs, including secure software development practices, threat modeling, code review, and security testing.\nEstablish security requirements for internally developed and third-party applications.\nDevelop and maintain data protection strategies including data classification, encryption, key management, and data loss prevention.\nPartner with development, infrastructure, and data teams to implement security controls that protect sensitive information.\n\nRequired Experience\n\n10+ years of progressive information technology and cybersecurity experience.\nExperience in a dedicated Information Security role with direct responsibility for security teams and security programs.\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nExperience supporting cloud security initiatives, i.e., Google Cloud environments.\nExperience within large retail, distribution, manufacturing, or highly distributed enterprise environments.\nExperience leading security transformation and modernization initiatives.\nCISSP Certification preferred\n\nSince opening our first store in 1979, AutoZone has grown into a leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories across the Americas.
