An excellent Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding the budget.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nOversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion\nOversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations\nDetermine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.\nCoordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors\nSelect tools, materials and equipment and track inventory\nOrders and schedules delivery of materials\nMeet contractual conditions of performance\nReview the work progress on daily basis\nPrepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status\nPlan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues.\nNegotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses\nMeet with contractors/subcontractors to ensure effective communication throughout the entire project.\nAnalyze, manage and mitigate risks\nEnsure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques\n\nEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or equivalent work experience (preferred)\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)\nMinimum of 3+ years working in a construction project manager role or equivalent.
