Electronics Technician 4

Join our fast‑paced and passionate team as an Electronics Technician 4. As we scale, you will play a critical role in building our hardware foundation from the ground up. This is a dynamic, hands‑on position for a highly skilled technician who thrives in a fluid startup environment. You'll work closely with engineers and leadership, support development of cutting‑edge technologies, and help establish best practices that enable our mission and growth.You will be expected to work independently, communicate proactively, and mentor junior technicians while owning complex technical tasks from prototype build to system‑level testing.Work independently and collaboratively while maintaining clear, proactive communication with engineers, project leads, and teammates. Mentor junior technicians as neededExecute complex technical tasks including test setup, data collection, troubleshooting, and documentation, following established processes and participating in peer reviewsApply tenacity, patience, and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in test execution, data integrity, adherence to best practices, and clarity in documentationContinuously grow technical competency through curiosity, initiative, and collaboration with engineering staffRequirementsThis position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)Experience:Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field; equivalent military or industry experience consideredMinimum of 7 years of relevant hands‑on electronics technician experience, ideally within a startup, R&D lab, or technology companyExperience assembling, testing, and troubleshooting RF and mixed‑signal circuits in the 200 MHz to 20 GHz rangeExperience with low‑noise measurement techniques and sensitive analog circuitryExperience working with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters)Experience with PCB rework, including fine‑pitch soldering, component replacement, and hardware modificationFamiliarity with Altium Designer or similar tools for viewing schematics and PCB layouts is a plusSkills:Strong understanding of analog, mixed‑signal, and RF hardware operationAbility to interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and engineering documentationProficiency in setting up and executing test procedures, including calibration and data captureKnowledge of RF measurement techniques, impedance matching concepts, and best practices for high‑frequency testingSkilled in diagnosing hardware failures and assisting engineers in root‑cause analysisComfortable maintaining BOMs, test logs, and build documentation with high accuracy.
