You will perform inspections, maintain documentation, and collaborate closely with Fabrication, Field, and BIM/VDC teams so every deliverable meets first-pass quality expectations through startup and turnover.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPerform inspections & tests\n\nExecute planned inspections and tests (ITPs/hold points) from material receiving through fit-up, supports/hangers, cleanliness/flush checks, pressure/leak testing, insulation/labeling, startup, and turnover.\nConduct field and shop walkdowns, dimensional checks, and system verification activities.\nApply codes & standards\n\nUse IMC/IPC, SMACNA, and applicable AWS/ASME elements (e.g., B31/Section IX) as required by project scope.\nFollow established procedures and support updates to quality documents as needed.\nDocumentation & traceability\n\nMaintain quality records, including RFIs, submittals, test reports, redlines/as-builts, and inspection logs.\nEnsure material and component traceability from model to shop to field.\nSupport preparation of QA/QC turnover packages.\nNCR/CAPA support\n\nIdentify nonconformances, document NCRs, and participate in root cause and corrective/preventive action activities.\nTrack and update status in quality databases and support timely closure.\nCollaboration across teams\n\nCoordinate daily with Fabrication, Field, and BIM/VDC teams on spool releases, weld/bolt logs, checklists, and handoffs.\nCommunicate clearly with project teams to keep quality gates and schedules aligned.\nPartner & inspector interface\n\nSupport interactions with clients, vendors, GCs, third-party inspectors, and AHJs during inspections or audits.\nProvide clear, professional documentation and responses as needed.\n#LI-ST1 #LI-Onsite\n\nAbout Legence\nLegence (Nasdaq: LGN) is a leading provider of engineering, consulting, installation, and maintenance services for mission-critical systems in buildings.
