Some responsibilities may include:\nAccess Control - Ensure only authorized individuals are given access to the site. This could be based on appointments, ID cards, etc.\nPatrolling - Walk the interior and/or exterior of the various buildings on the site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.\nCamera Monitoring - Monitor CCTV for safety and security concerns across the site.\nCustomer Service - Always enforce rules and policies through de-escalation techniques and ensuring quality customer service in every interaction.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMust be at least 18 years of age or older.\nMust have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.\nMay NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.\nMust be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.\nMust present a friendly, positive, and professional image.\nMust possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.\nMust be able to read and write in the English language and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions and reports.\nIntermediate computer skills required – Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, and able to learn new software.\nMust be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified\nMust have your own reliable vehicle to travel to and from various job sites between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. Mileage reimbursement is available.\nMust have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. (Required for driving sites)\nLess than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years\nLess than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years\nNo other major violations in the last 3 years.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs\nMust be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds\nMust be readily able to respond to emergency situation\n\nDK Security is Michigan’s fastest growing security company.
