{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d1e3fad795824191903db3bb","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d1e3fad795824191903db3bb","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d1e3fad795824191903db3bb","title":"RF Design Engineer","description":"Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupport iBwave design efforts for In-Building wireless systems for region and/or assigned customer programs\nCollaborate with customer technical subject-matter experts, carriers and sub-contractors, solution engineers and deployment engineers to recommend system designs for in-Building wireless projects\nConduct site surveys to identify design parameters and key performance indicator (KPI) criteria that influence system designs.\nAssess and determine capacity, coverage, and equipment requirements for project designs.\nPlan, develop, and price system designs in compliance with established design standards to ensure quality and meet customer requirements.\nUse RF tools to perform radio propagation modeling, prediction, and tuning, as well as system integration.\nCreate 3-dimensional models using design software (e.g. iBwave) and analyze data to finalize designs and provide recommendations.\nReview design deliverables, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.\nPartner with Field Engineers to update designs based on changes made during system implementation and testing.\nSupport project managers throughout implementation by providing RF engineering deliverables, including creating Bills of Materials (BOM), participating in weekly project calls (internal or customer-facing), collecting data, and preparing final project completion reports.\nAct as a resource for other designers, providing guidance and support.\nMaintain records and databases of project details, including hours worked and project status.\nCollaborate with engineering management to define, clarify, and standardize design engineering practices.\nTravel/Shift Requirements:\nOccasional travel may be required\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work outdoors on ladders, and in confined spaces\nAbility to work with/around electrical wires and/or ESD products\nAbility to work remotely at construction or installation sites\nManagerial Responsibility\nNo direct reports.\nSkills and Abilities Required\nAbility to learn and apply evolving technologies, standards, and certification requirements.\nAbility to work independently, while effectively collaborating within a team to solve operational challenges and support Telamon’s objectives.\nStrong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences clearly and effectively.\nProficiency in using standard office software applications.\nEducation and Experience Required\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Engineering or related field\nFocus on RF and cellular communications preferred\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in design engineering\nUnderstanding of RF design concepts, practices, and procedures\nWorking knowledge of performance software and test equipment (e.g. TEMS, JDSU, DataPro, or similar)\niBwave certification, Level 1 or greater, plus relevant experience.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.\nSkilled at understanding and addressing customer requirements to deliver tailored, high-quality designs.\nStrong focus on accuracy and quality in RF designs, documentation, and deliverables.\nJob Types: Full-time, Permanent\nPay: $72,000.00 -
