We are seeking an individual to operate a manual lathe machine and a manual mill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, quality control, and safety protocols within a factory setting. If you have experience with machines and a solid grasp of technical drawings we encourage you to apply. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with the potential for overtime.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Operate and monitor machines to produce high-quality components.\n* Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure precise measurements.\n* Interpret technical drawings and specifications.\n* Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.\n* Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.\n* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety guidelines.\n* Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.\n* Ability to stand, bend and lift significant weight for significant portions of the day.\n* Read gauges such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, and tape measure.\n\n*Skills*\n\n* Proficiency in operating machinery.\n* Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings.\n* Strong understanding of GD&T principles for quality assurance.\n* Experience using hand tools and measuring devices like micrometers.\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.\n* Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and tape measures (will be tested).\n\nJoin our team as a Machine Operator where your skills will contribute significantly to our production success while ensuring quality standards are met.
