MD.\nJob Description:\nAs a Thunderbolt Solutions employee, your role will focus on performing a variety of systems engineering and activities that are concerned with hardware/software integration, failure analysis, test and verification of electrical components of major Department of Defense systems.\nResponsibilities include:\nPrime interface with Sensor providers to ensure proper development, testing, and integration is completed prior to installation onto platform\nValidate sensors are operational on new platform through test and integration activities\nGreat communication skills is required as interaction will be required between Government, Prime contractor, and other industry partners\nEmbedded with Prime contractor leading Command and Control working groups and interfacing with Sensor providers\nQualifications:\nThe successful candidate must demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:\nMinimum of 10 years of professional technical experience in System and Subsystem Requirements analysis focusing on analysis, development, documentation and validation of Cyber Security Systems in the Aerospace/Defense and/or Commercial systems.\nFamiliarity with Aerostat Systems and Radar/ELINT/IFF platforms.\nExposure to requirements engineering and management of requirements using Rational Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)\nExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML\nModeling with Rational Rhapsody a plus\nFamiliar with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence\nEducation Req: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or related field.\nExcellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by a record of influencing internal leadership and external customers on design decisions.\nUnderstanding of electronic, electrical, computer, and networking systems.\nAbility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nOther desired qualifications include:\nKnowledge of systems engineering development methodologies.\nExperience with airborne sensors and surveillance systems.\nExcellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by a record of influencing internal leadership and external customers on design decisions.\nCurrent U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance.\nCompensation Statement (Maryland Pay Transparency Notice)\nIn accordance with Maryland’s pay transparency requirements, the anticipated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $160,000. This range represents a reasonable estimate based on the expected scope of work and varying levels of experience.\nFinal compensation will depend on several factors, such as job responsibilities, relevant experience, education, certifications, specific skills, internal alignment, and prevailing market rates.
