CNC Machine Operator

Job Description :CNC and manual machinists to operate equipment for custom metal fabrication, including mills, lathes, and grinders. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, setting up machinery, programming, and performing quality inspections to produce precision components. The role involves working with diverse materials to create, repair, or modify parts.Key Responsibilities & DutiesMachine Operation: Set up and operate CNC machinery and conventional shop tools (mills, lathes, drills, saws).Production & Quality: Read blueprints, sketches, and work orders to produce precision parts, ensuring they meet exact tolerances.Programming: Write or modify basic G-code programs and verify them.Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and inspect finished parts for defects.Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.RequirementsExperience in a job shop environment with both CNC and conventional machining.Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.Proficiency in math and geometry.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.Work Environment & CultureLocated in Mansfield, TX, specializing in custom, turnkey fabricated systems.The shop features a mix of new and older equipment.Work involves collaboration with engineering and assembly teams.Dependable, self-starter mentality is highly valued.$20.00 / hrLI23LILive24Company DescriptionPartnering with a retirement planning company for a full time role.Company DescriptionPartnering with a retirement planning company for a full time role.
