{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d1bb1f6f8accc4d426a261ab","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d1bb1f6f8accc4d426a261ab","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d1bb1f6f8accc4d426a261ab","title":"Project Engineer","description":"Oversee and maintain processes for fabrication, machining and/or assembly of products and product components for the facility.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nDevelop, implement, and maintain effective, robust, ergonomic, and safe manufacturing processes.\n\nContinuous improvement initiatives to reduce variable and fixed manufacturing cost.\n\nWork directly with Product Development on design for manufacturability for current and future products.\n\nParticipate on Simultaneous Product Process Development (SPPD) Teams as required.\n\nSupport TS16949 certification initiatives.\n\nPoint of contact for APQP process associated with launching new products/manufacturing processes.\n\nSupport customers with resolutions to concerns and enhancements for existing applications.\n\nDefine product and process improvements for potential cost savings.\n\nWork with plant engineering group, quality department and production to aid in daily manufacturing issues.\n\nAssign work to other engineers and technicians for specific product line or manufacturing process.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation and Training\n\nBachelor’s degree required.\n\nTraining in computer aided drafting techniques.\n\nKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\n\nKnowledge of programming logic.\n\nKnowledge of PLC logic.\n\nBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office).\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.\n\nSuspension System knowledge preferred.\n\nFabrication experience preferred.\n\nWelding experience preferred.\n\nBackground in developing product evaluations based on analysis data.\n\nGood Communication Skills.\n\nHands‑on, systematic individual.\n\nMechanical aptitude, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.\n\nResults oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility.\n\nProfessionalism and integrity to communicate and work with employees at all levels of the organization.\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
