JOB Summary: The Registration/Enrollment Clerk IV is a position that requires excellent computer skills and provides our students, visitors, and employees excellent customer service. Salary: Starting salary is $4,250 per month which is based on $51,000; $24.42 per hour. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Position Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, this position will perform complex data control tasks utilizing higher level technical skills; serve as a primary contact with faculty, staff, and students for specific information, such as grades, student records, completions, course management, program enrollment, and the like; develop documentation and procedures; analyze new procedures and rules, making recommendations for modification.Scan, collate, and file student records and departmental materialsReceive and respond to departmental and general college telephone inquiries; manage electronic correspondence from departmental inboxes, Triage and resolve problems and respond to inquiries regarding registration/enrollment procedures and servicesReceive and refer visitors; manage check-in procedures for appointments and drop-in servicesUpdate and maintain student records according to departmental and college procedures; liaise with other departments on shared records.Operate departmental and college software programs including office suite programs (word processing, database management, spreadsheets), student information systems, and web-based reference materials. May proofread print and web materials and identify areas needing corrections; liaise as appropriate with communications, marketing, and information technology personnel. Data entry Extract and compile statistical data from source documentsDraft routine forms and letters; assemble reports; enter and retrieve dataSupport students in scheduling appointments with college resources. Support student enrollment through student information system; quick enroll special populations; identify and report enrollment errors Review and revise forms for departmental and college use Prepare query data and reports as directed.Liaise with IT Helpdesk to troubleshoot and problem solve computer and technology issues.Requisition, receive and maintain inventoryOther duties as assigned SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Compensation, Work Schedule and Benefits: Starting salary is $4,250 per month which is based on $51,000; $24.42 per hour. Work schedule: This position’s hours will vary based on 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A regular schedule will be finalized upon hire based. Benefits: Bargaining Unit: The position has been designated as a bargaining unit position represented by the Bellingham Educational Support Team (BEST). Benefits are subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
