Apply today and help support the leadership that guides our mission forward.What You'll DoProvide High-Level Executive SupportManage a complex calendar, including meetings, travel, and key eventsPrioritize competing demands and ensure the CEO's time is used effectivelyPrepare agendas, reports, presentations, and briefing materialsDraft, edit, and proofread professional communications on behalf of the CEOServe as a gatekeeper, screening and prioritizing incoming requestsManage Communication & Follow-ThroughMonitor and triage the CEO's inbox, ensuring timely responses and follow-upCoordinate communication with internal leaders, staff, board members, and external partnersMaintain clear, professional, and confidential communication at all timesSupport the Board of DirectorsCoordinate board and committee meetings, including scheduling and logisticsPrepare and distribute agendas, board packets, and supporting materialsRecord accurate meeting minutes and maintain official recordsServe as a key liaison between the CEO and Board membersSupport compliance with governance standards and organizational policiesCoordinate Projects & EventsTrack strategic projects, timelines, and deliverablesSupport leadership meetings, board retreats, and community eventsHelp plan and execute special initiatives and organizational eventsEnsure deadlines and priorities stay on trackSupport Administrative OperationsMaintain organized and confidential files and recordsProcess expense reports, invoices, and related documentationCoordinate travel arrangements and itinerariesAssist with reports, dashboards, and organizational documentsCollaborate Across the OrganizationPartner with senior leaders to improve communication and workflowSupport alignment on key priorities and initiativesHelp ensure consistent follow-through on executive goalsRequired QualificationsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, ideally at the CEOBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredExceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of discretion and ability to handle confidential informationPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting a Board of Directors or nonprofit governanceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with calendar management and virtual meeting toolsThe Qualities That Set You ApartYou anticipate needs before they ariseYou stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environmentYou build strong, trusted relationships at every levelYou handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalismYou take initiative and follow through with excellenceYou are aligned with a mission of service and communityEqual Employment Opportunity StatementMennonite Village values diversity and inclusion and is committed to equal employment opportunity for all.
