Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.\r\nThe Lab Integration Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining laboratory interfaces between Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Lab Information Systems (LIS). Responsible to support, design, develop, test, debug, install, implement, and modify new or existing interface integrations. Use expertise to provide inter-department consultation, training, documentation, guidance, and monitor applications and services, all in the name of meeting quality standards.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and implement HL7 interfaces using Mirth Connect.\r\nCreate automated data workflow exchanges using HL7, FHIR, RESTful services, and JSON formatted data with external systems and applications.\r\nPerform message filtering, transformation, and routing.\r\nDevelop and maintain real-time and batch interfaces for data exchange.\r\nCollaborate with partner labs and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure successful integration.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to data exchange and integration.\r\nEnsure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and HL7.\r\nProvide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders.\r\nEducation and Experience\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\r\nProven experience with healthcare integration required.\r\nStrong understanding of HL7 and other healthcare data standards required.\r\nExperience with RESTful services and JSON required.\r\nMirth Connect experience preferred.\r\nSkills and Ability\r\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, word processing software, spreadsheet software, and database software required.\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\r\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities: None\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\r\nProlonged use of computer and headphones for conference calls.\r\nCommunicate effectively via phone, video, and email.\r\nUse hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment.\r\nFrequently required to talk or hear.\r\nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\r\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.\r\nTravel Requirements: No Travel Required\r\nJoin our team and discover how your work can impact patients' lives around the world!\r\nPerks\r\nFinancial Security (Base Pay, 401k Match and Possible Annual Bonus Eligibility)\r\nHealth Benefits beginning on date of hire\r\nPTO plan, plus 11 Paid Company Holidays, and 1 Day to Volunteer in your community\r\nShort and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and AD&D\r\nWe celebrate our differences, which enriches our culture!\r\nIn addition to great perks and challenging work assignments, we invest in our people with career growth opportunities, globally.
