Headquartered in McLean, VA, By Light supports defense, civilian, and commercial IT customers worldwide.\n\nPosition Overview:\n\nThe ideal candidate will manage large government program financials via Earned Value Management, including developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and will work closely with the Program Manager, project staff, finance, and accounting.\n\nResponsibilities:\nProvide timely and up-to-date financial and status data.\nFinancial tracking and analysis; assessing financial data to identify trends and concerns.\nWork with program staff to develop and analyze Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC).\nMonitor subcontractor financials and material purchases.\nSupport the Program Manager (PM) in preparing financial reports and communicating with the government customers.\nAssist in preparation of Program Management Review (PMR) presentations.\nTrack percent complete in compliance with an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).\nMaintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in compliance with Statement of Work (SOW).\nManage and communicate Charge Numbers, monitor labor charging.\nAssist in the development and analysis of cost proposals for submittal to customers.\nWork with finance to update Deltek Costpoint financial data.\nCoordinate with finance on charge numbers and invoices.\nRequired Experience/Qualifications:\n10+ years of experience in finance or business-related field OR 5+ years of experience with a degree.\n\nExperience in tracking and managing large program financials.\n\nManage Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINs) and funding/ceiling modifications.\n\nPrior experience with Deltek Costpoint.\n\nPrior experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).\n\nPrior experience with development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Integrate Master Plan (IMP).\n\nPrior experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR).\n\nPreferred Experience/Qualifications:\nDegree in finance or business-related field preferred.\nPrior experience with the Integrated Program Manager (IPM) tool (OPDEC).\n\nPrefer experience with government programs, preferably DoD and modeling and simulation.\n\nSpecial Requirements/Security Clearance:\nAbility to obtain a Security Clearance.\n\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for their job.
