Specific functions include running a circular loom, yarn rewinding machines, as well as checking materials made for quality.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities:\n\nOperate circular looms, change weft bobbins, and thread yarn into looms\nOperate yarn rewinding machines\nLoad creels with warp yarn packages\nAir splicing warp yarn ends together\nInspection of woven jacket\nFlake woven jacket into large containers\nMaintain quality standards checking product for defects\nEffectively communicate information to all Weaving Operators\nMaintain safe and clean work environment\nPerform any other assigned proprietary duties\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\n\nAttention to detail\nAbility to retain product knowledge\nEnergetic, outgoing, and positive attitude\nGood organization skills\nReliable and dependable\nPre-employment drug screening and background check conducted\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nStanding or walking 100% daily\nAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in adherence with Midwest Hose Safety Standards\nMust be able to meet the physical demands typical in a manufacturing environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes.\nCommitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders received daily\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\nHigh School diploma or GED (required)\n\nAbout Us:\nMidwest Hose is one of the largest hose and fitting wholesale distributors in North America.
