This role focuses on hand-soldering components to meet quality standards, while also assisting with SMT line operation and selective soldering equipment as needed. Work is performed using precision tools and must follow written or verbal instructions, drawings, or diagrams.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nReads and works from detailed process sheets and drawings. Computer skills are required to retrieve drawings, work instructions, and support other job activities.\nSolders electronic components onto PCBs following technical diagrams and assembly instructions.\nConducts visual inspections and uses testing equipment to verify solder joint quality.\nIdentifies and troubleshoots soldering defects, making necessary repairs or adjustments.\nApplies strong problem-solving skills and works independently or collaboratively as part of a team.\nSets up, operates, and maintains machinery according to instructions.\nComplies with ESD policies, safety practices, ISO procedures, and FOD protection requirements.\nAccurately enters and maintains production records.\nAssists in the operation of selective solder machines and SMT line as needed.\nPerforms effectively in a diverse team environment.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to share and receive instructions, updates, and general information.\nDemonstrates proven experience in PCB soldering, with a solid understanding of electronic components and circuit design.\nProficient in using soldering tools, microscopes, and testing equipment.\nMaintains high attention to detail and handles fine electronic components with care.\nExhibits excellent hand/eye coordination required for precise work.\nRegularly uses hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate small components and tools\nDemonstrates strong concentration and attention to detail\nMay require lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods of time.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nMust be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a \"protected person\"\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nThree or more years of experience in the field of electronics/soldering\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nWork is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to the manufacturing floor and testing environments.
