We are interested in expanding our team to meet the demand of our federal clients.\n\nJob Description:\n\nSuccessful engineering company seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter to provide CAD drafting support to our engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with project members in the design, development, and implementation of complex security initiatives.\n\nWe serve both commercial and government markets, delivering technologically advanced security solutions. Our offerings integrate multi-level security infrastructures, including both custom and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies.\n\nRequirements:\nTeamwork\nProficiency in AutoCAD and developing detailed engineering drawings\nDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English\nAuthorized to work in the U.S.\nAbility to pass required federal background checks (criminal and civil)\n\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare shop drawings\nRevise shop drawings based on engineer mark-ups until full project approval is achieved\nReview designs and red lines for accuracy and quality\nPrepare a final record set of shop drawings from approved mark-ups\nManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines\n\nBenefits:\n401(k)\n401(k) matching\nHealth, Dental and Vision insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nParental leave\nProfessional development assistance\nReferral program\nRetirement plan\n\nPay: $30 per hour\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nExperience Level: Mid-level\n\nLocation: Hybrid remote\n\nDuring the first 90 days, employees are expected to work on-site full-time for comprehensive onboarding and training.
