You will collaborate closely with Instructional Designers to transform complex learning concepts into engaging, visually polished digital experiences. Beyond course creation, you will help maintain other custom front-end code for our online learning platform and cloud-hosted training assets.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nCustom eLearning & Front-End Development: Code interactive, responsive web-based learning modules using optimized HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) within our LMS and rapid-authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline.\nLMS & Backend Support: Assist in editing or building custom LMS pages and managing eLearning Team files hosted on AWS servers.\nVisual Asset & Media Creation: Produce custom course graphics, visual assets, and multimedia using Adobe Creative Cloud or Camtasia, adhering strictly to corporate brand standards and visual design principles (white space, typography, color theory).\nInstructional UI/UX & Interactivity Strategy: Partner with Instructional Designers to elevate course scripts into meaningful interactive experiences grounded in adult learning theory, cognitive psychology, and gamification.\nQuality Assurance & Standards: Conduct rigorous self-QA to ensure code is clean, well-commented, and formatted, with near-zero errors in accessibility/alt text, links, or responsive layouts prior to sending out for team review.\nDigital Organization & Process: Maintain meticulous file organization, clear folder structures, and standardized naming conventions in team-shared drives.\nProject Execution: Provide accurate task estimations, proactively communicate status, and consistently meet project deadlines.\nRequirements:\nExperience: 3-5+ years of experience in front-end web development and eLearning development.\nCore Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; understanding of API connections, SSO authentication, and AWS file hosting.\nLMS Expertise: Demonstrated experience navigating, building, or customizing enterprise LMS environments.\nMedia & Visual Design: Strong portfolio showcasing custom graphics, UI/UX layouts, and video/audio editing via Adobe Creative Suite or Camtasia.\nInstructional Craft: Strong foundation in adult learning theory, UI/UX design, and complex interactivity design beyond basic multiple-choice formats.\nSoft Skills & Discipline: Outstanding attention to detail, strong time-management skills, transparent communication, and an organized approach to code and file management.\nPortfolio Required: Must submit a portfolio showcasing custom code, interactive learning samples, and original media assets.\n\nThe annual starting base pay for this position typically starts between $70,000 to $85,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, location, and equity with internal team members.
