position is well suited for an engineer who enjoys working on the manufacturing floor, solving practical technical problems, and translating customer requirements into repeatable processes.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDevelop and optimize die bonding and wire bonding processes.\nSet up and operate die bonders, wire bonders, plasma cleaning systems, dispensing equipment, and related assembly tools.\nSupport epoxy, eutectic, solder, and other die-attach processes.\nDevelop processes for gold and aluminum wire bonding, including wedge, ball, ribbon, and heavy-wire applications where applicable.\nEvaluate bond quality through pull testing, shear testing, visual inspection, and process data.\nReview customer drawings, material specifications, assembly instructions, and acceptance criteria.\nCreate process travelers, work instructions, setup sheets, and engineering documentation.\nDesign or improve tooling, fixtures, nests, vacuum pickups, and mechanical interfaces.\nTroubleshoot equipment, materials, placement, adhesion, contamination, and bond-integrity issues.\nPerform root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.\nWork with customers on design-for-manufacturability recommendations.\nSupport prototype builds, process transfers, production ramp-up, and continuous-improvement activities.\nTrain technicians and production personnel on approved manufacturing processes.\nMaintain compliance with quality, safety, traceability, and documentation requirements.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nHands-on engineering experience in microelectronics assembly, semiconductor packaging, electronics manufacturing, or precision manufacturing.\nExperience with die bonding, wire bonding, or both is strongly preferred.\nUnderstanding of mechanical tolerances, tooling, fixtures, materials, and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to read engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.\nComfortable working in a production and cleanroom environment.\nAbility to manage multiple customer programs in a high-mix manufacturing environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Experience\nEpoxy, eutectic, solder,
