We are currently looking for a Messaging Engineer I to join our team.\r\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Messaging Engineer with solid experience in messaging platforms, system administration, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments, with a solid understanding of email systems, collaboration tools, and security policies. In addition to messaging skills, proficiency in Windows Server management is required, with experience in Azure AD (Entra ID) and cloud messaging integration being highly desirable. Cloud experience, particularly with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance and Azure, is preferred.\r\nPrimary duties\r\nManage messaging support and related tasks as directed by infrastructure team leadership.\r\nProvide services focused on messaging system setup, documentation, support, and new tenant/user implementations.\r\nConfigure and administer various messaging platforms and services, including but not limited to: Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, Exchange Online, Azure AD, and collaboration tools & email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), spam filtering, and compliance policies\r\nPerform regular messaging system maintenance and upgrades, including applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.\r\nMonitor messaging system performance and security to ensure availability and reliability.\r\nConduct capacity planning, system resource monitoring, and trends analysis for messaging environments.\r\nAdhere to established configuration and change management policies, ensuring all changes are reviewed, approved, and successfully implemented.\r\nCollaborate with the company's security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures related to messaging platforms.\r\nProvide technical support for messaging and system-related issues within strict SLA windows.\r\nRequired skills\r\nExpertise in messaging platforms, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online administration.\r\nExperience with platform migrations (e.g., Exchange to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace to Microsoft 365)\r\nIn-depth knowledge of email protocols and security standards, including SMTP, IMAP, POP3, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.\r\nUnderstanding of Azure AD (Entra ID), user provisioning, and integration with messaging systems.\r\nProficiency in Windows Server management, Active Directory, MFA, and related identity/access management systems.\r\nFamiliarity with ITIL standards and maintaining compliance with security policies related to messaging environments.\r\nKnowledge of ticketing systems with a proven ability to manage and resolve tickets promptly.\r\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams and clients.\r\nFlexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\r\nLocal to Dallas area and available to go onsite to customer locations as needed.\r\nDesired skills\r\nITIL training or hands-on experience.\r\nExperience with monitoring tools for messaging system performance and health.\r\nFamiliarity with patch management processes for messaging platforms.\r\nCloud experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance and Azure environments.\r\nAdditional Information\r\nThis position requires a highly proactive individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
