This is a versatile opportunity for early-career engineers to gain exposure across a variety of transportation and civil disciplines, including highway, roadway, bridge, and land development projects. With involvement from planning through construction, this role is ideal for someone looking to develop both technically and professionally without being confined to a narrow scope of work.The RoleAs a Transportation Designer, you will contribute to a range of municipal and state agency projects. The role includes preparation of plans and technical documentation, support for permitting, and involvement in client and stakeholder interactions. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse project types and participate in different phases of delivery, including QA/QC and public engagement support.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with staff, clients, and stakeholders to develop and deliver transportation solutionsPrepare conceptual and final designs for municipal and state agency projectsCreate construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for biddingSupport the preparation of local, state, and environmental permitting documentsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field0–5 years xhyhwjd of relevant experienceEIT certification is a plusStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage individual tasksDetail-oriented with a proactive mindsetExperience with AutoCAD, 3D software, and/or HydroCAD is a plusExperience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is a plusLocationLawrence, MA or Worcester, MASalaryCompetitive compensation, based on experience
