We are looking for an Entry-Level Electrical Component Test Engineer.\n\nEssential Responsibilities:\n\nPerform design, development, and review tasks with close supervision.\nDesign, development, and simulation of test circuits for characterization and evaluation of microelectronic components.\nDesign and development of printed circuit boards.\nDesign and development of automated test programs.\nData collection on test components and data reviews performed by others.\nComplete portions or sections of analysis and design reviews.\nAssist in the preparation of reports and correspondence.\nTrack and maintain project development status.\nDevelop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.\nInterface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.\nVerify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and relevant experience or understanding of microelectronics and / or electronic components\nExperience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills\nMotivated and creative with the ability to work effectively across several different functional areas in a collaborative environment\nWell organized and able to handle multiple projects\nAbility to be a team player and receive mentoring from senior engineers and leadership\nAptitude for solving technical problems and creating customer solutions\nUnderstanding of concepts, theories, and methods related to the composition, structure, and properties of microelectronics\nMust be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Note: U.S. Citizenship Required to obtain a security clearance) - Interim Clearance required to start\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nMicroelectronic component test experience\nSCALE program affiliate\nKnowledge of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as Altium, Eagle, LTSPICE, etc.\nSome programming experience with Python, C, C++, VisualBasic, git, or Labview.\nBasic analog or design knowledge of circuit boards or ASICs.\nUnderstanding of noise and repeatable test measurements.\nKnowledge and understanding of microelectronic fabrication processes and techniques.\n\nCompensation Details:\n\n$70,000-110,000 annually\n\nThe compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
