From small repairs to preventive maintenance, your work will help create an environment that feels comfortable, secure, and thoughtfully maintained.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nMaintain the physical functionality and safety of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.\n\nRespond promptly to guest requests and team member work orders, diagnosing and repairing issues efficiently.\n\nPerform maintenance tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, painting, and masonry.\n\nConduct regular inspections to identify preventive maintenance needs.\n\nDocument repairs and elevate unresolved issues for additional support.\n\nUphold professionalism and consistency in every task, ensuring a well-functioning and welcoming property.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; trade school or specialized courses in building maintenance preferred.\n\nAt least 2 years of experience in building maintenance, repair, or construction.\n\nStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.\n\nAbility to perform carpentry, repair, renovation, and painting work.\n\nClear communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.\n\nA problem-solver with pride in craftsmanship and a focus on safety.\n\nWhy The Compton\nWe believe in taking care of the details—seen and unseen—that shape every guest experience.
