This role focuses on ensuring the platform remains secure, reliable, scalable, and efficient through automation, monitoring, infrastructure management, and continuous improvement.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, maintain, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure (RHEL preferred).\nAutomate operational tasks, deployments, and configuration management using Ansible and scripting (Bash/Python).\nImprove infrastructure provisioning, patching, upgrades, and platform maintenance processes.\nImplement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.\nLead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.\nSupport customer environment deployments and platform improvement projects.\nCollaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD and deployment processes.\nCreate technical documentation, runbooks, and promote knowledge sharing.\nProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-team coordination.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\n6+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles.\nStrong experience with Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting.\n6+ years of Ansible and automation/IaC experience.\nProficiency in Bash and Python scripting.\nExperience with SQL/MySQL.\nMonitoring, incident management, and production support expertise.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDocker, Kubernetes, Helm\nJenkins and CI/CD tools\nRundeck\nSolr, etcd\nNetworking (DNS, routing, firewalls)\nCloud or hybrid infrastructure experience\nITIL/change management practices\nExperience working with distributed/global teams\nIdeal Candidate\nA proactive DevOps professional with deep Linux and automation expertise who thrives in production environments, drives operational excellence, leads critical incident response, and collaborates effectively across technical and business teams.\nWorking Conditions: Normal office environment.\nADA/EAA: The above statements cover what are generally believed to be the principal and essential functions of this job.
