In this role, you will assemble and test build-to-print surgical laser systems and accessories.\nThe ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nThis position offers stability, structure, and clear expectations. You’ll be part of a dependable team, working within established processes where your focus can stay on the work itself.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations in a manufacturing environment at a fast, but accurate pace, following work instructions and drawings.\nComplete the assembly of simple and complex components with little or no supervision.\nInstall, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses.\nEnsure all products are built and tested according to the documented procedures, and all forms are completed correctly.\nTroubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test assembled components-with limited supervision.\nMaintain records of assembly process, progress, and problems.\nMaintain proficiency in the use of required machinery/equipment.\nDisplay knowledge of manufacturing practices\nEducation, Skills, and Experience:\nHigh School minimum, AA preferred.\nAt least one (1) year experience in production or assembly, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong mechanical and electrical aptitude.\nHand soldering skills preferred\nAble to read and follow written and verbal instructions including the interpretation of engineering drawings and production documentation\nAttention to detail and organization skills\nAble to work efficiently with minimal supervision\nWork Environment and Physical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a lighted, indoor environment containing electronic production and test equipment.\nThis position is regularly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 75 pounds.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nUse of protective and safety equipment may be required.\nPosition Type/Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.
