(degree must be completed by start date).\n\nStrong background in biomass conversion, lignin chemistry, or catalysis.\n\nDemonstrated experience in laboratory research, including design, execution, and analysis of experiments.\n\nProven ability to communicate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.\n\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.\n\nExperience in one or more of the following areas:\n\nPlasma chemistry application in biomass conversion.\n\nCatalytic upgrading of lignin (e.g., hydrotreating, hydrodeoxygenation).\n\nNanomaterials preparation from biomass\n\nBiobased materials from cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin.\n\nBiochar production and characterization.\n\nSkills in advanced characterization techniques (e.g., NMR, FTIR, GC–MS, HPLC, BET, SEM/TEM).\n\nKnowledge of techno-economic analysis (TEA) or life cycle assessment (LCA) of biomass-derived products.\n\nStrong writing skills and prior experience in proposal development or grant writing.\n\nDemonstrated interest in sustainable agriculture, circular bioeconomy, and
