Support the production department in troubleshooting acute and chronic technical issues.\n\nParticipate effectively in the execution of the Technical Department day-to-day activities, including assisting with tasks associated with mill environmental and safety compliance and including the operation of wastewater treatment plant.\n\nCollect, use and evaluate data to identify problems with processes and equipment.\n\nUse technical skills to identify root causes of failures and design and implement solutions, including process design changes. Also uses these skills to identify potential failures and propose corrective actions that will prevent failures.\n\nCoordinate communications and efforts with vendors to execute implementation of the new technologies, chemical programs, production solutions and equipment operation.\n\nDevelop new specific technical procedures aimed at process and performance improvement.\n\nSupport development and implementation of capital improvements.
