In this role, you will operate and monitor Wrapper Cartoner packaging equipment to ensure products are packaged safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and production standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, quality-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOperate and monitor Wrapper Cartoner packaging machinery to package products according to production specifications.\nSet up, adjust, and perform changeovers for packaging equipment based on product and packaging requirements.\nLoad and replenish packaging materials to ensure continuous machine operation.\nConduct routine quality inspections of products and packaging throughout the production process.\nIdentify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues while communicating larger concerns to maintenance or supervisors.\nPerform routine cleaning and sanitation of packaging equipment.\nComplete production documentation, line checks, and quality records accurately and in a timely manner.\nMonitor label machine performance, including feeding materials and receiving finished product while minimizing downtime.\nFollow all company safety policies, GMP standards, quality procedures, and operating guidelines.\nCommunicate production updates, equipment concerns, and quality issues to supervisors and team members.\nAssist with preventive maintenance activities as needed.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and help achieve daily production goals.\nDemonstrate accountability and ownership of assigned responsibilities.\n\nQualifications\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\nPrevious manufacturing or packaging experience is a plus but not required.\nStrong attention to detail with an excellent eye for product quality.\nGood organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to understand and safely operate powered material handling equipment.\nEffective verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nWillingness to comply with company policies, including:\nNo cell phone policy\nPre-employment drug screening and background check\n\nWork Environment\n\nManufacturing and warehouse environment.\nStanding and walking for extended periods throughout the shift.\nFrequent lifting, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.\nExposure to manufacturing equipment and production noise.\nMust follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nStanding & Walking: 50%\n\nBending/kneeling: 50%\n\nLifting up to 20 pounds: 25-50%\n\nLifting 20-35 pounds: 25-50%\n\nLifting 35-50 pounds: 1-25%\n\nCarrying, Pushing or Pulling: 1-25%\n\nDatrose is an equal opportunity employer.
