Validation Engineer

What you’ll be doing:The Validation Engineer is responsible for leading electrical feature testing for specific vehicle programs and should be capable of working with suppliers, various Engineering Support teams, including systems, wiring, design release engineers, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams, as required to validate and resolve electrical issues to support a successful vehicle launch. Responsibilities include:Create test plans for electrical features across the vehicle: cluster, radio, body control module, telematics, and powertrainDevelop, maintain, and execute test plans (DVP&R) at the vehicle levelReport defects based upon test plan failuresDevelop and maintain subsystem test benchesRoot cause analysis of issues foundProvide feedback on System Requirements to ensure specs are testableBasic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceRelevant automotive experience for alteast 3 yearsKnowledge of CAN-based communication and toolsExperience with multimeters and oscilloscopesPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of CAN-FD and Ethernet protocolCreating test plansPerforming System Behavior Testing
