Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.\nConfers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.\nPerforms activities of workers supervised.\nUses 5S to ensure that tools and equipment are housed properly and inventory is organized.\nActive member and participant in Safety Committee\nOther duties may be assigned.\nPLC knowledgeable.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDirectly supervises employees in Maintenance. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.\n\nSAFETY AND REGULATIONS\nResponsible for ensuring that proper rules and regulations are followed. Guidelines set forth by OSHA, FDEP AND NCDEQ, as well as in house procedures on safety, production and housekeeping must be upheld and enforced.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. PLC\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nOne year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete reports and forms associated with the position: Ability to communicate effectively orally, and in writing\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
